    Description: [0001] The present invention relates to a device for storing and dispensing tennis balls.
    It is already known from the state of the art storage devices and distribution of tennis balls. These devices are used in particular by players during training sessions. In general, one of the players, often the monitor, wants to have the balls at hand he uses different ways to have balls available. A commonly used example is the use of a trolley or a supermarket shopping cart, in which the balls are stored.
    An example approaching is described in EP 0 885 637 in which a bale pickup device comprises a means for gripping a ball disposed on the ground, a storage means of a plurality of bales, and a means for raising the balls at the level of the user's hand. The storage means is provided with a side window and a flexible wall so that the edges of the window are able to move apart to allow a bullet to pass.
    Another system approaching supermarket trolleys is described in US 5,301,991 in which a bale recovery basket comprising a wheeled trolley to recover rolling balls and store them. The basket consists of a bottom allowing the ball to enter but not out. The carriage comprises a vertical element comprising supports for fixing the movable basket in a position higher than the bale recovery position.
    [0005] Other alternatives are available to practitioners of the discipline, such as the use of shorts with pockets deep enough to store several tennis balls.
    Another solution is described in WO 2008 116 102 where a device consists of a large piece of stretch fabric or other material worn around the waist, hips, arm, or thigh of a person and makes it possible to squeeze balls against a person who performs an activity, for example playing tennis. The balls can be placed in front, side or behind the person. The tension due to the elasticity of the belt, and friction of the fabric in contact with the surface of the ball, prevent it from slipping and rolling along the body. The device can be worn independently or can be integrated into a garment.
    [0007] All these achievements have the same goal, namely, to allow a tennis player to have balls at hand. The object of the present invention is to provide a device for storing and dispensing tennis balls which is always accessible to the player or the tennis instructor.
    According to the invention, a device for storing and dispensing tennis balls comprises means for carrying the device on the back of a user, a tennis ball container having a top opening for insertion. of tennis balls, a lower opening for extracting said tennis balls. The container is fixed on the carrying means so that the device, when worn on the back of a user, allows the extraction of tennis balls through the lower opening, one ball at a time, right hand or left hand of the user.
    [0009] Thus, a user who holds his tennis racket with his right hand could extract the balls with his left hand and vice versa.
    In one embodiment, the container may be removably mounted on the carrying means. This removability makes it possible in particular to guide the extraction of tennis balls through the lower opening, but it can also be useful for changing containers if some had containers with different storage capacity, or simply to make the change for a replacement in case of deterioration or cleaning of said container.
    In a variant, the container is fixed and there is then a version of the device for users wanting to extract the balls through the lower opening of the device of the right hand and a version of the device for users wanting to extract the balls by the lower opening of the device with the left hand.
    In a preferred embodiment, the carrying means of the device are in the form of an adjustable fastening harness. For ease of use, the fastening harness may include an opening / closing system for donning and removing.
    In a variant, the adjustable attachment harness, for greater comfort, may include a lateral adjustment system at the hips.
    The lower opening of the removable container may comprise a flexible lug arranged to retain the bales in said container while waiting for a force exerted by the user to extract said tennis balls.
    The upper opening of the removable container may include an arrangement to prevent the extraction of bales from the top opening of the container.
    Preferably, the container is of elongated shape but in a variant it may for example be of rounded shape or any other form.
    In a preferred embodiment, the container is of tubular form. It can be a simple tube, optionally-angled, or in the form of a coil to store even more balls.
    In a preferred embodiment, the device comprises an arrangement for the orientation of the lower opening so that the user who wears the device on his back, can guide the lower opening for the exit balls on the left side if he wants to recover them with his left hand, or on the right side if he wants to recover them with his right hand.
    In a simplified variant, the device has a lower opening in the middle of the back of the user, that is to say along the spine, so that the user who wears the device on his / her back, can recover the bullets with the left hand or the right hand without having to orient the lower opening.
    The characteristics of the invention will appear more clearly on reading several embodiments given solely by way of example, in no way limiting with reference to the schematic figures, in which:

    In a preferred embodiment, the tennis ball storage and dispensing device comprises a harness 1 for carrying the device on the back of a user. A removable container 2 of tennis balls has an upper opening 3 for the insertion of tennis balls 5 and a lower opening 4 for extracting said tennis balls 5. The removable container 2 is fixed on the harness 1 so that the device, when worn on the back of a user, allows the extraction of tennis balls 5 through the lower opening 4 of the right hand or the left hand of the user.
    In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the device comprises a container 4 of elongated form for the storage of balls 5 and arranged for the distribution of balls on the right hand side. The harness 1 allows the user to fix the device on the back. The harness 1 consists of straps that enclose the pelvis and torso of the person. The harness 1 has an opening / closing system 6 to allow the device to be easily donned and removed.
    According to this embodiment, the container is elongated and oval and it can be in a flexible material or in a rigid material. Its ends are just wide enough to let in or a ball while the central part is wider and can receive several balls.
    According to this embodiment, the lower opening 4 of the container 2 comprises a flexible lug 7 arranged to hold the bales 5 in the container 2 while waiting for a force exerted by the user to extract said tennis balls.
    In another embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, the device comprises a container 4 of elongated shape for storage and arranged for the distribution of balls on the left hand side.

    1. Device for the storage and distribution of tennis balls comprising: - means (1) for carrying the device on the back of a user; - A container (2) of tennis balls having an upper opening (3) for the insertion of tennis balls (5), a lower opening (4) for extracting said tennis balls (5); the container (2) being fixed on the carrying means (1) so that the device, when worn on the back of a user, allows the extraction of tennis balls (5) by the lower opening (4), one ball at a time, with the right hand or the left hand of the user.
